Studies Prove Walking in Nature Reduces Stress

Studies prove that walking in nature reduces stress.  They haven’t determined why, exactly.  Normally, I need studies.  I love studies.  I want verification.  I hate false claims and assumptions.  But I have anecdotal evidence that walking in nature reduces stress.  My test subject?  Me, myself and I.

Listen, I’m lucky and I have an amazing riverside park that I can go to everyday.  The views there – people in other parts of the world would pay good money to see.  But if you don’t have a river park where you are, finds some trees and sky to stare at while you walk in your urban or suburban setting.

The clock is ticking.  Soon it will be winter.  Fall is magical.  The colors are a spectacle.  Bundle up, get out there, breathe deeply and enjoy.  Reducing your stress helps you sleep better.  Managing stress and getting better sleep makes you healthier.  Being healthier makes you better looking!  Everybody wins.  ~Cherise
