There is a difference between a waning moon and a waxing moon. There may be a difference in its power as well.
When the moon wanes, it’s getting smaller. It’s already been a full moon and it’s now reducing in size.
You can tell because when you look at it, it looks like the letter C.
A waxing moon is growing. You can tell if the moon is waxing because it looks like a capital letter D – even if it is tipped over at an angle.
It is said that a waxing moon is a time for things to mend and be made whole again. There is an increase in power.
It is also said that a waxing moon is a time of growth, expansion and possibilities.
This is the reason why there is a waxing moon on the wrap on the Therapie embossed keepsake tin.
Starting new adventures and projects during the time of the waxing moon might help harness any powers of expansion that it might have.
