
This post is called ‘Waking Up Pleasantly’ – or – ‘How I Reduced F-bombs and Heart Palpitations’.
At this time of year, we are all looking for gift giving ideas. And it’s so much harder to wake up. It’s dark out. It’s getting colder. I would like to make a recommendation. This changed my mornings and possibly added 10 years back to Quentin’s life. I hope it helps you like it helps us.
This is Panasonic’s Wake Up Light Alarm.
Quentin used to be a Firefighter. When the Tones sound at the Fire Hall in the dead of light, you can imagine how loud they are.
After 10 years, Quentin became a Fire Investigator/ Fire Inspector and went to straight days. No more Tones sounding in the middle of the night.
But every time the alarm clock sounded in the morning, he’d still catapult out of the bed, like he was on his way to a fire.
Gradually, this diminished to those F-bombs and heart palpitations I was telling you about.
The Wake Up Light Alarm slowly, gradually brightens to a nice glow. Sometimes that gets us up just by itself. Wow, is that pleasant, to look over at my husband and watch as his eyes just open. No swears!
if the light doesn’t get us up, the sweet nature sounds do. You get to choose the sounds you like best. They gradually increase in volume. So pleasant.
Therapie is a wonderful way to go to sleep. Once you’ve got that covered, you need a wonderful way to wake up.
