Beauty, sleep and wellness. I’ll tell you a little about what I have learned in these three areas. I’ll tell you about the keepers and all the other things that got chucked. Do with this information, as you will.
Therapie Silk and Bamboo Pillowcase is for face, hair and lash extensions. Today’s topic is lashes.
Some years back, I reached the age when lashes fall out and don’t come back. The remaining ones got shorter. My lash line looked like a stubby little comb with teeth broken out of it.
Enter lash growing formulas. Boy, are there a lot of them now. There are dozens of mascaras and lash serums, all claiming to grow your lashes. Even Vaseline lays a claim to this power.
When lash growth formulas first became a thing, I found one shining star. Lashfood. This one really worked for me. My lashes got so long, they grazed my sunglass lenses when I blinked. I felt positively glamorous.
Easy to use, Lashfood has a tiny paintbrush like a liquid eyeliner. It’s clear, colorless and has no fragrance. It takes me about nine seconds to apply it to the base of my upper lashes, where the lash meets the skin. It doesn’t irritate my easily irritated eyes. I put it on clean dry skin, once a day. Since it’s not a prescription drug, there are no side effects. In a couple weeks, I saw a difference. After a month, I had luscious lashes. It even filled in my lash line.
There’s also Browfood, by the same company. It’s basically the same formula. I just use my Lashfood in my brows. It does double duty. You see, young ones, you will learn, in time, that brows also thin with age. Brow hairs fall out and don’t come back. You wind up with sad, little brow bald patches. Lashfood filled in my brows’ thin areas.
Lashfood is great if you aren’t ready for lash extensions. It’s even better if you are using lash extensions – since you need lashes to have lash extensions.
Here’s to your long, luscious, lovely lashes.
